PETERSBURG, Fla. – June 22, 2018 – iQor, the only global managed services provider embedded in the flow between product, people and services, today announced iQor has earned the Responsible Recycling (R2) certification standard for electronics recycling at its Reynosa, Mexico Product Support Center.
The R2 standard is the electronics recycling industry's most prestigious certification, designed to help ensure the quality, transparency, and environmental and social responsibility of R2 certified electronics recycling facilities. iQor’ Reynosa North facility is the first iQor location to achieve R2 certification. In 2017, iQor facilities in Reynosa recycled 3,636 tons of cardboard, 262 tons of wood, 123 tons of plastic, 284 tons of e-waste and 8 tons of metal.
