The ‘Leaders Inspiring Leaders' Training Program Joins Award-Winning iQor University

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – MAY 31, 2018 – iQor, a global managed services provider embedded in the flow between product, people and services, announced today its launch of its newly rebuilt leadership training program, dubbed Leaders Inspiring Leaders (LIL).

Launching over the course of 2018, Leaders Inspiring Leaders, is a self and competency-based leadership development training program for the company’s managers, directors, and VPs. The program joins the company’s award-winning iQor University, which includes the successful PeaQ Performance Training, sQholar program, trainer certificate program, and LEAN training portal.

“We are very excited to launch this new training program for our leaders,” says Hartmut Liebel, president & CEO of iQor. “Learning doesn’t and shouldn’t stop once you reach a top management position. We had an open discussion with our leaders throughout the company and there was a clear desire and necessity to provide them with needed training and continued growth opportunities.”

iQor, however, did not aspire to create another run-of-the-mill training program, as the Leaders Inspiring Leaders program proves. According to Mason Argiropoulos, executive vice president and chief HR officer for iQor, “We wanted to create a complete program focused on morphing managers into real trailblazing, inspiring leaders using as many engaging techniques as we could. Instead of long, mindless videos, PowerPoints, or binders full of policies and workflows, Leaders Inspiring Leaders teaches by mixing virtual learning with role play, lunch and learns, mentorships, and interactive workshops.”

“For us, it’s about engagement and emotional intelligence,” says Mark Monaghan, vice president of global learning for iQor. “An engaging and emotionally intelligent employee performs better, is happier, and more poised while tackling tough challenges. The tools and methods we’re providing will help our leaders feel informed, supported, and confident enough to handle any situation and successfully engage and inspire their direct reports to do the same so on down the line. This will have a huge positive impact on the entire organization and leadership culture.”

Science backs this up. Training employees and managers to be more emotionally intelligent is critical in building and sustaining positive and engaged individuals and thus, entire organizations. With LIL, iQor is incorporating this type of emotional intelligence training by including modules on Inclusion and Unconscious Bias; Becoming an Inspirational Leader; Managerial Courage; Inspiring Others; Successful Delegation: Supervise and Encourage; Performing With Others Under Pressure; and others.
