iQor, a managed services provider of customer engagement and technology-enabled business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, today announced its membership in the Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP), a country-level nonprofit community comprised of dedicated representatives from LGBTQ+ employee resource groups and human resource and diversity teams of private firms.

Founded in October 2013, PFIP is the first organization in the Philippines to focus on DEI initiatives specific to the LGBTQ+ community. PFIP’s mission is to set industry-leading standards for the LGBTQ+ community, provide learning and development opportunities for queer professionals, and drive relevant cause-oriented initiatives. By joining PFIP, iQor aims to contribute to this mission and benefit from the organization’s resources and programs for its LGBTQ+ talent.

“Our membership with PFIP aligns with our ongoing commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace,” said iQor Chief People Officer and DEI Committee Member Fleurette Navarro. “We are excited to work alongside other like-minded organizations and leverage PFIP’s expertise to continue enhancing our culture of inclusivity.”

Through this partnership, iQor plans to implement best practices on inclusive policies; promote Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression (SOGIE) training and education; and empower LGBTQ+ employees through a sustainable Pride network, professional development, and advocacy programs.

“We believe that a diverse and inclusive environment is key to innovation and success,” said iQor DEI Chairwoman Daynette Blackwell. “Our partnership with PFIP is a testament to our commitment to supporting our LGBTQ+ employees and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.”
